Yes, DTU does provide lateral entry! It's a pretty cool way to get into the third semester of B.Tech programs through the DTU LEET (Lateral Entry Engineering Test). Basically, if you've completed a Diploma in Engineering, you can apply.

DTU offers around 14 courses for B.Tech admissions through this route. The admission is based on a 2-hour written exam conducted by DTU, and they prepare a merit list from the exam scores. A big plus is that you don't have to go through the JEE Main or any other competitive exam to qualify.
