Hey! So, IIM Ahmedabad doesn't really have a quota system these days. They used to have a program called PGN-ABM, but now it's FABM (Food and Agri-business Management). It's a full-time, two-year residential program covering food processing and stuff like that.

Even though they haven't released the exact eligibility, the name FABM suggests that folks with a Food Tech degree will definitely be considered. So, you probably don't need to worry about quotas.

To get shortlisted, you'll need to kill it in the CAT exam. If you're serious about it, aiming for the PGP in ABM might be a good move. It's one of the top Agri-business management courses in Asia.

For the PGP ABM program, they usually want candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in agricultural sciences or related fields.

Also, PGP ABM students attend the same classes as the regular PGP (MBA) students during the first year, so you won't be missing out on anything!
