So, you're wondering if Christ University in Bangalore is a good option for a B.Tech. Honestly, it might not be the best choice right now.

The engineering faculty is relatively new, and there are still some kinks to work out. A lot of the faculty members are recent graduates themselves, so they might not have tons of teaching experience just yet.

Some departments, like Mechanical and Automobile, are pretty focused on research. But core departments like Electrical don't have as much research going on.

Placement-wise, it's decent for CSE, but not so much for other engineering branches. In 2022, the average salary for engineering grads was around INR 6-9 LPA.

Also, the campus is a bit outside the main city of Bangalore.
