Is joining a new IIIT like IIIT Guwahati a good decision for engineering aspirants?

IIIT Guwahati can seem like a decent choice at first glance, but it's important to dig a little deeper. While some faculty members might have impressive PhDs from IITs, that doesn't automatically make them great teachers. Teaching ability is a different skill.

The course structure might be a plus, but IIIT Guwahati is still relatively new. A big factor in any college's reputation is the quality of students it attracts, and it's questionable whether you'll find a top-tier peer group there.
