Well, if you're really into aeronautical engineering, getting your BE at Madras Institute of Technology might not be the best move. Here's why:

A lot of the professors there aren't that strong on the core aerospace stuff. They mostly know thermodynamics and structures.
They don't really teach you about how systems come together or how planes actually fly. You won't even get to design a paper airplane in class.
The school doesn't give out good projects and won't let you join any cool ones that are already happening.
Many students doing M.Tech or Ph.D. in aeronautical engineering are just there for the degree, not really into research.
You can't even do internships, even if you get into a good company or international place.
The aeronautical engineering curriculum isn't well-planned. It doesn't start with the basics of mechanics, and you're stuck with the teachers' notes, so you can't really study on your own, do projects, or work in groups.

If you're serious about this field, you're better off studying mechanical engineering at another college, even if it's not as well-known. Then, you can get an M.S. or M.E. in Aerospace Engineering with a solid understanding of mechanics from your bachelor's degree.
