Is SASTRA University better than NITs for engineering studies?

Well, when you look at things like job placements and the kind of students you'll be studying with, NITs usually come out on top compared to SASTRA.

But, SASTRA definitely has its strengths, especially if you're into research. They've got some really good facilities for that. Plus, a lot of their professors are from IITs or NITs. SASTRA's research output is pretty comparable to NIT Trichy when you look at citations.

Also, SASTRA alumni end up in some top universities around the world, like MIT or Harvard. So, it's a solid option too!
