Should I repeat a year for JEE or take Computer Science at Amrita Institute, Coimbatore?

Well, it really depends on what you want! If you're super confident and ready to grind for another year to crack JEE, go for it! Getting into IITs or top NITs can open doors with better facilities and peers.

But, if you're not so sure about repeating, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Amrita University) in Coimbatore is a solid choice for Computer Science. Their Amritapuri campus in Kerala is also known for its CSE program. Here's why:

Their cybersecurity club, bi0s, was ranked #1 by CTFtime.org for two years straight!
The FOSS club was in the top 10 worldwide in Google Summer of Code (GSoC) back in 2016.
The courses and facilities are pretty good, like some NITs. Placements are decent too.

Highest CTC	43 LPA
Major recruiters	Nokia, Oracle India Pvt Ltd, Rober Bosch

So, if you're okay with not making it to IITs or the very top NITs, Amrita is a good option. But if you're aiming higher, maybe another year of prep is worth it!
