AMU provides hostel facilities right during the admission process. There are 19 Halls of Residence, including 13 for boys and 4 for girls, plus a Non-Resident Students Centre (NRSC).

Most rooms are shared, accommodating two to four students. If you want a single room, you might consider private hostels or PGs near the university. Basic amenities like lights, fans, and cupboards are provided. The hostels are set in a pretty environment.

Each hall has a common room for indoor games, a reading room, a library, sports clubs, and a cultural society. Students are encouraged to self-govern. You'll find badminton and basketball courts, and TT tables in all hostels.

Internet Connectivity: Expect good internet connectivity with high-speed Wi-Fi (72MBps).

Dining: Hostel dining is quite affordable, costing between ₹1000–₹1300 per month. Canteens are available on campus and around the hostels. Water is available 24/7, and power cuts are rare. Overall, AMU's hostel facilities are pretty good!
