From what my friends at NITIE Mumbai have shared, the percentage of female students is generally lower compared to male students, which is pretty common in most business schools.

In top B-schools, out of 240 students, only about 20-25 are female.
Sometimes, being fewer in number can actually give female students an edge during placements.
Like everyone else, girls need to work hard to score well and get good placements.
They might get a slight advantage due to their minority status in B-schools.
You usually need around 65% to be eligible for on-campus placements.
Marks aren't everything; companies look at your overall personality too.
