Hey, so there's this thing going around about IIM Kozhikode favoring students from Bengal, but honestly, I don't think that's really the case. I heard from someone who was actually on the interview panel a while back, and they were saying that finding good candidates in Bangalore was super tough. Like, not many people were up to par. But then they mentioned they weren't too worried because they knew they'd get plenty of great applicants from Kolkata.

So, yeah, maybe more students from that side of India get in, but it's probably just because a lot of them do well on the CAT. There's no real bias, just a bunch of smart folks!
