Yes, IIITM Gwalior does have students from West Bengal, although they might not be a huge number. You'll also find some Bengali students who are from West Bengal but not living on campus. Plus, there are Bengali students from other parts of India studying here as well. There are even a few Bengali professors on campus.

Gwalior has a pretty decent Bengali community. You can find three to four Durga Pujas happening around the city. And don't worry about food – it's not hard to find non-vegetarian options. A friend of mine from the institute, who's a big foodie, has even found some places that sell fish.
