NITIE is pretty competitive, so the CAT percentile needed for admission is usually high. They look at a bunch of things to decide the cut-off, like how many people apply, how well everyone did, and how many seats are open.

Usually, OBC students need a CAT percentile of 75+, but now it's probably closer to 80.
To be safe, aim for 80-85 percentile to increase your chances.
They consider CAT scores, GD, PI, 10th, 12th, and graduation marks for the final ranking.
CAT score is only 30% of the final selection at NITIE.
Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds are super important for getting in.

So, even for OBC students, the CAT cut-off is quite high to get an interview call. You'll also need to do well in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview to get into NITIE.
