NIT Surathkal has a pretty decent campus, about 295 acres. If you're looking at the girls' hostels, there are five blocks: GH1, GH2, GH3, GH4, and GH5. GH5 is the newest and generally considered the best, but it's usually reserved for final year students via a lucky draw.

Here’s a quick rundown:

Room Sharing: In your first and second years, expect to share a room with two or three other students. By your third and fourth years, you should be able to get a single room.
Timings: There are time restrictions for girls. First-year students need to be in by 7:30 PM, while those in later years have a 9:30 PM curfew.
Facilities: You'll find a night canteen, a mess that serves ice cream twice a week, and a shopping complex with groceries and fruit shops.
Room Basics: Each room comes with chairs, a table, a steel bed, and an almirah.
