From what I've heard from friends at IIIT Lucknow, the hostels are pretty awesome. They're new, spacious, and well-equipped.

Think of large, modern rooms with plenty of natural light. You get good furniture like beds, tables, chairs, and almirahs.

Hygiene is a big deal – washrooms get cleaned at least twice a day, and you can get your room cleaned too. The infrastructure is new and top-notch, with modern lecture halls and labs. You'll have 24/7 access to clean drinking water, Wi-Fi, and electricity. There's even a clinic with a nurse and visiting doctor, plus wardens and security guards around to keep things safe.

The mess hall can fit 200 people and serves four meals a day. They even have a committee to make sure the food is good and hygienic. Wi-Fi and LAN are available everywhere. For chilling out, there's an indoor common area with games like carrom and chess, and badminton courts outside. You can use the laundry service or wash your clothes yourself with the machines provided. The buildings are also designed to be accessible for everyone, and you get newspapers daily. Plus, there's Tata Sky for all the TV channels. The hostels are pretty fair to everyone.
