Both IISc Bangalore and IIT Madras are great for M.Tech ECE placements. You'll find many of the same top companies visiting both campuses, especially for specializations like Micro-Electronics and Electronics Systems Engineering.

At IISc, the competition might be a bit less because of the smaller batch size. Big names like Texas Instruments, Cisco, and Analog Devices recruit here. The average CTC for M.Tech ECE grads at IISc is around INR 15 LPA.

During IIT Madras's 2021 placements, M.Tech students bagged an average CTC of INR 16.84 LPA.
