BIT Mesra is well-known for its research and higher education programs. The integrated MSc course covers most topics pretty well, and students from the Mathematics and Computing departments often land good placements.

However, the fees for the integrated MSc program are quite high compared to government colleges like BHU and JNU. Placement-wise, Mathematics and Computing grads can get jobs with packages around 5-7 LPA. Otherwise, you might end up in mass recruiting companies like Infosys with a lower package.

Competition for those better-paying jobs is tough because only a few companies allow iMSc students to sit for recruitment. On the bright side, BIT Mesra offers an exit option after the 3rd year, which isn't available in many other colleges.

Basically, BIT Mesra is a great choice if you're in B.Tech CSE, IT, ECE, or EEE. For other courses, it might not be the best option.
