This scholarship is for students in a few different categories:

Students who've passed Class 10 or 12.
Students currently studying in Class 11 or 12.
Students in their first year of a 3 or 4-year undergraduate program.

There's no strict family income limit, but they do give preference to students with good grades, especially those who scored 80% or higher in Class 10 or 12. Oh, and you have to be an Indian citizen to apply.
