From what I've heard from friends, Karunya University has its ups and downs. It's gotten better, but keep your expectations realistic.

Pros:

Good infrastructure and well-equipped hostels.
Pleasant climate year-round.
Comparatively less ragging.
Helpful with arrears; supplementary exams are available.
WiFi is available.
Option to choose faculties.

Cons:

Mandatory morning assembly with prayers; 80% attendance required.
Management can be inefficient.
Grading system may seem unfair; multiple faculties for the same subject.

If you're considering Karunya, CSE seems to be the strongest department. Other departments like ECE and EE might lack adequate faculty or infrastructure.
