Both Vel Tech and LPU are well-known universities. The choice between them really depends on whether you prefer studying in North or South India.

Vel Tech has a pretty good placement record, especially for branches like ECE, CSE, EEE, and Mechanical. Back in 2020, the highest salary package offered was around 10 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Byjus, Capgemini, and Amazon often recruit from the campus.

Keep in mind that, apart from IITs, NITs, and BITS Pilani, most engineering colleges in India expect you to put in your own effort to develop your skills. So, no matter if you pick Vel Tech or LPU, you'll need to take initiative to learn and grow.
