I'm trying to decide between Maharaja Surajmal Institute (MSIT) and Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS) for my BCA. Which one should I choose?

So, you're looking at MSIT and VIPS for your BCA, right? Both are decent IPU colleges. MSIT is recognized by AICTE, UGC, and NCTE, and has an ‘A’ grade from NAAC. It was ranked 15th for BCA by India Today in 2020. VIPS also has an ‘A’ grade from NAAC.

Course Details: Both offer a three-year BCA course with fees around ₹2.59 lakhs for the entire program.

Admission: * Same process for both. * Need 50% in 10+2. * Selection via IPU-CET rank. * Confirm seats through counseling. * 180 seats available.

Infrastructure: * MSIT: 8-acre campus, well-equipped library, sports, arts, auditorium, gym, and cafeteria. * VIPS: 5-acre campus, hostels, labs, auditorium, gym, AC classes, convenience stores, and cafeteria.

Placements: * MSIT: 75% placement rate. Recruiters include Wipro, Deloitte, Infosys, SAP Labs, ZS Associates, and TCS. Average package is ₹2.5 LPA, highest at ₹6 LPA. * VIPS: 80% placement rate.
