Getting into CSE at LNCT Bhopal with a rank of 118,000 in JEE Mains can be a bit tricky. Based on what my friends who study there have told me, it's competitive.

One of my friends, a final year IT student, had a rank of 1,27,000 back in 2017 and couldn't get into CSE directly. He opted for IT in the first round itself. You might want to wait until the third round to see if your chances improve.

Also, your quota plays a significant role. Without a quota, it's usually tough to secure a seat with that rank. For example, another friend from the unreserved category couldn't even get into EC with a rank of 69,000.

In recent years, the cutoff for CSE at LNCT Bhopal has been around 83761.

If you're really aiming for CSE or IT, start building your programming skills independently. Relying solely on college for learning programming might limit your job prospects.
