So, you're about to start your first year at the University of Kashmir? That's awesome! The campus is really nice, and the teachers are pretty good too. Here are a few tips based on what my seniors shared:

Attendance : Try to maintain good attendance. If it falls below a certain limit, you might not be allowed to sit for exams.
Study Material : Get your syllabus ASAP and ask your teachers for study material recommendations. The syllabus usually has a list of recommended books. Check the departmental library or the Allama Iqbal Library for books.
Uniform : If you're in IMBA or BA LLB, you'll need to wear a uniform, so keep that in mind.
Library : The Allama Iqbal Library has a great collection. Get a library ID quickly so you can borrow books.
Class Representative : A class representative will be chosen in the first week. Make sure it's someone fair; it'll help you out later.
Co-curricular Activities : The university has lots of activities. Give them a shot! You can make friends and have some cool experiences.
