From what I've heard from friends at Thapar, the differences between COE (Computer Engineering), CAG (Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Graphics and Gaming), and CML (Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Machine Learning) aren't that significant, especially when it comes to placements.

COE covers both software and hardware aspects. If you're really into gaming or graphics, CAG might be a better fit. CML is geared towards machine learning. However, your branch won't drastically limit your job options. These specializations are offered from the 4th semester onwards, letting you pick based on your interests.
