To get into the BE or B.Tech programs at RMK Engineering College, you need to have passed your 12th standard (or equivalent) with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) handles undergraduate admissions.

For direct entry into the second year (lateral entry), you should have a diploma in engineering or technology from the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu, or an equivalent.
