CUSAT has two campuses, and the infrastructure and facilities differ, leading to varying demand. This means the cut-off ranks for similar departments on the two campuses also differ.

To snag a seat in any department on the first campus, aim for a rank within 1000, or maybe 1200-1300 at most.
For the second campus, the rank difference compared to the first is significant and varies yearly. Sometimes, cut-offs are within 2500-3000, while other times they extend to 5000-6000.
Even with these ranks, there's still a chance to get a seat during spot counseling rounds.
