Which is a better option: SIBM Pune or newer IIMs like IIM Ranchi, Trichy, Udaipur, and Rohtak?

Well, as of now, SIBM Pune has an edge over the newer IIMs. It's been around for about 45 years, giving it a strong alumni network and better industry connections. SIBM Pune also boasts pretty good placement records. For example, the 2021-22 batch had an average CTC of INR 23.06 LPA.

While the recruiting companies and job roles are similar at both SIBM Pune and the new IIMs, keep in mind that SIBM Pune's fees are higher, costing around INR 21.32 lakhs for the MBA program.
