Which is the better choice for engineering studies: Anna University or SSN College of Engineering?

Well, one of my cousins actually had to pick between Anna University and SSN, and she ended up at SSN. She visited both campuses and felt SSN had a definite edge. Some cool things she pointed out:

SSN has awesome infrastructure, including really good Wi-Fi.
The student crowd is super diverse, which helps you get a lot of exposure.
SSN doesn't make you go to every single class.
They focus on helping you grow as a person and chase your goals.
The hostel facilities are pretty good.

She did her M.E. at SSN and then went to CEG for her PhD, but she wasn't too happy with CEG. She mentioned a few issues:

The sanitation wasn't great.
They didn't really push extracurriculars or club activities.
Transportation options weren't the best.

So, it sounds like SSN is more about quality than just getting a degree.
