Well, if you're aiming for Mining, Earth Science, or Petroleum-related fields, IIT Dhanbad is definitely the way to go. It's got the best mining department in India! Top companies like IOCL and ESSEL recruit from there, and the salary packages can reach around INR 15-20 LPA.

But, if you're more into core branches like CSE or Electronics, IIT BHU might be a better fit for you.
