From what my friends who studied at IIT Ropar have shared, and after checking some online reviews, Dr. Dhiraj K. Mahajan seems to be a really great professor. He focuses more on whether students truly understand the material rather than just grades.

He even takes extra time to give students exams that help them realize their potential. Apparently, he's personally guided about 5-6 students for a whole year, helping them land job opportunities in Germany for some international experience.

Besides him, some other professors who are also considered good include Dr. Narayanan C. Krishnan, Dr. Nitin Auluck, Dr. Balwinder Sodhi, Dr. Deepti Bathula, Dr. Apoorva Mudgal, Dr. Yashveer Singh, and Dr. M. Prabhakar.
