Actually, IIIT Allahabad doesn't really need to 'grab' students. It's a well-known institute in India with a solid reputation. It's built its own brand over the years. Maybe the issue is that it's a bit underrated by some people.

You might see IIIT Allahabad students sharing their experiences and honest opinions on social media. But sometimes, there are folks who spread incorrect info, even taking credit for achievements that belong to other colleges. Some might mistakenly think that an INI set up by MHRD (which has been around for about 10 years) isn't as good as a college under a PPP model.

If you ever see someone rating another college higher than IIIT Allahabad, it's good to be open to different opinions. But here's why IIIT Allahabad is a great college:

It was ranked as the top institute in ACM ICPC World Finals 2016.
It was ranked number 1 worldwide by Sphere Online Judge.
HackerEarth ranked it Numero Uno.
Topcoder ranked it number 27.
