To qualify for the Education Future International Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be an Indian citizen with a valid passport.
• Be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program at an accredited university or college outside of India.
• Have a minimum of 60% marks in both Class 10 and 12.
• Demonstrate a verifiable need for financial aid to support their education.

Note: This scholarship is available for all fields of study.

Successful candidates will receive a scholarship ranging from ₹2 to ₹10 lakhs to support their education.

4. Complete the application form, upload the necessary documents, and submit.

Note: The course for which you are applying for the scholarship must commence between January 1st and October 31st, 2025.

Candidates will be selected based on their academic performance and the quality of their motivational paragraph. Those who meet the minimum academic requirement of 60% in Class 10 and 12 will have their paragraphs reviewed. Shortlisted candidates will then be invited for an interview.

• The scholarship is not applicable for studies within India.
• The scholarship is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be substituted.
• The number of scholarships awarded each year varies based on application quality.
• The scholarship amount may not cover the full cost of studying abroad; students should secure additional funding through avenues like education loans.
• Education loans must be applied for and approved through WeMakeScholars, a Govt. of India-supported initiative. WeMakeScholars will expedite loan processing for scholarship applicants within 10-15 days. Disclose any existing loan applications in the online form.
• Scholarship winners will be notified within 14 days of selection via the contact details provided in their application.
• Selected candidates must accept the terms and conditions in writing and provide any required documents within 14 days of notification.
• Final scholarship confirmation is subject to document verification and eligibility confirmation by the Education Future International Scholarship committee.
• Failure to respond within the specified timelines will result in forfeiture of the scholarship, and the committee reserves the right to select an alternate recipient.
