To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be currently enrolled in a university other than IIITDM Kancheepuram.
• Have a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA from SSLC onwards.
• Successfully complete:
  • 4th-semester exams for B.Sc. students.
  • 6th-semester exams for B.E., B.Tech., and B.Arch. students.
  • 6th or 8th-semester exams for Integrated M.E./M.Tech. (Dual Degree) students.
  • 2nd-semester exams for M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch., or M.Sc. students.

Note:

• Applications from students with external agency fellowships are also encouraged.
• Applicants should be within the top 20% of their class in terms of CGPA.

Selected interns (25 candidates) will receive:

• Free accommodation in the institute's hostel.
• A stipend of ₹10,000 upon completion of the internship.
• A certificate of completion.

Note:

• Food and other amenities are available on a payment basis.
• Interns must submit a report at the end of the program to receive the certificate.

Applicants must submit the following documents:

• NOC from the Head of the Department.
• Self-attested copies of 10th and 12th-grade mark sheets.
• Mark sheets from previous semesters.
• Curriculum Vitae (CV).
• A clear photograph (JPG/PNG/GIF format, max size 100 KB).
• Identity proof.

Internship Period: Second week of May - Second week of July 2025

• A maximum of 50 interns will be selected for the May-July 2025 summer program.
• Each faculty member at IIITDM Kancheepuram will mentor one intern, excluding those with external fellowships.
• Mentor assignments are determined by IIITDM Kancheepuram; interns will not be shared between mentors.
• Carefully review all information before submitting the application, as modifications are not allowed post-submission.
• The list of selected candidates will be published on the IIITDM Kancheepuram website in the first week of April.
