To be considered for the IISER Berhampur Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria:nn Be an Indian or foreign citizen.n Not exceed 35 years of age at the time of application.n Possess a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field of study.n Demonstrate a strong academic background.n* Have at least 5 years of post-Ph.D. experience.

Candidates without a Ph.D. will be appointed as Research Associates (RAs).

The terms and conditions for the fellowship are as follows:nn On-campus housing is provided, or HRA if on-campus housing is unavailable.n 30 days of annual leave are permitted for attending conferences/workshops.n Up to 15 days of medical leave per year are allowed with valid medical certificates.n OPD medical consultations are available; fellows must have medical insurance of at least ₹1,00,000.n Minimum qualifications may be relaxed for exceptional candidates.n Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview.n Foreign residents/OCIs may attend interviews via Skype.n Campus facilities are similar to those provided to UG/PG students.n Interviews are conducted periodically throughout the year.n Applications may be forwarded to DST-SERB for consideration of financial support.
