About
Inspired by Shri Dhirubhai Ambani's vision, Reliance Foundation has awarded scholarships to deserving students for over two decades. These scholarships recognize and support students demonstrating high academic merit. Each year, Reliance Foundation supports thousands of students through its Undergraduate and Postgraduate Scholarship programs, fostering future leaders and innovators across India. The Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships aim to support students from underprivileged backgrounds pursuing various fields of study. The Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships aim to identify and support postgraduate students pursuing future-ready courses.
Eligibility
The following criteria apply for the Reliance Foundation Scholarships:
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Currently enrolled full-time in the first year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program in specified fields like Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics & Computing, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

Academic requirements:
- Undergraduate Scholarships : Applicants must have secured a rank between 1 and 35,000 in the JEE Main (Paper 1) Examination.
- Postgraduate Scholarships : Applicants must have a GATE score between 550 and 1,000, OR a CGPA of 7.5 or higher in their undergraduate degree (or equivalent).
- Students from all Indian institutes are eligible if they meet the above criteria.

Benefits
Undergraduate Students : Receive up to INR 4,00,000 throughout their degree program.
Postgraduate Students : Awarded up to INR 6,00,000 during their degree.
Scholars also gain access to a comprehensive development program, enhancing their skills through expert interactions, industry exposure, and volunteering opportunities.
Documents Required
Applicants must submit the following documents during the application process:
- Passport-sized photograph
- Address proof
- Current resume
- 10th Class Board Examination Marksheet
- 12th Class Board Examination Marksheet
- JEE Main Entrance Examination Marksheet (for Undergraduate students) OR GATE Entrance Examination Marksheet (for Postgraduate students, if applicable)
- Official undergraduate degree transcript/marksheet (for Postgraduate students)
- Bonafide Student Certificate or Student ID Card
- Two reference letters (one academic, one character)
If Applicable:
- Work experience/internship certificates
- Official Disability Certificate
- Family Income Proof (for students with a household income of INR 10 lakhs or less)

- Complete the online Eligibility Questionnaire.
- If eligible, you'll receive an email with login details for the Reliance Foundation application portal.
- Log in to the application portal using the provided credentials.
- Fill out the scholarship application form and upload the required documents.
- Submit your application.
