College Internship Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are scarce. The college needs to actively collaborate with companies to bring in more internships, especially for core branches. Students mostly have to rely on off-campus efforts, which is quite a struggle.
Course Information :
The B.Tech Computer Science Engineering program needs some serious attention. The curriculum feels outdated, and there's a huge gap between what's taught and what the industry expects. Hoping the college brings in more relevant subjects and practical training soon!
Fee Structure :
The fee structure for B.Tech CSE is around ₹51,325 per semester, which feels quite steep considering the quality of education. There are additional charges for hostel and other facilities. Honestly, it doesn't feel like value for money given the current academic standards.
Faculty :
The faculty is a mixed bag. Some of the older professors from OPJIT are still around, and their teaching methods feel like we're back in school. The Dean and Registrar are trying to make improvements, but it's a slow process. Need more experienced and engaging faculty who can make learning fun and relevant.
Campus Details :
The campus is decent, with a good library and digital lab. The auditorium is a plus for movie screenings. However, the location is quite isolated, about 20 km from Raigarh city, making it difficult to go out. Campus life is mostly limited to the hostel, which can get monotonous.
