OP Jindal University was established in 2014 by the Jindal Education and Welfare Society. It is a private university. OP Jindal University campus is spread over 34 acres. The university is approved and recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University Grants Commission (UGC). The total number of faculty there in the university is 66 and the total student enrollments are 1178. OPJU is surrounded and has strong collaborations with many large, medium and small scale industries including JSPL, JPL, NSPL, NTPC, DB Power etc. The mission of the university is to invest in technology, academic and residential amenities, and sports and recreational facilities to provide good-in-class student experiences.OP Jindal University, Raigarh offers diploma, UG, PG and Ph.D programmes in engineering, computer application, commerce, sciences, arts and management and business administration streams. The campus is a bit outside the city, but honestly, it's got everything you need. The infrastructure is top-notch, with well-equipped labs and a decent library. Plus, you'll find all the basic amenities right around the campus, so you don't really miss being in the city. The hostel is great, and the mess food is surprisingly good!

"OPJU Raigarh: A Budding University with Great Potential, But Location is a Drawback"

The campus is lush green and well-maintained, which is a huge plus. The hostel facilities are decent, and the labs are well-equipped compared to other colleges in Chhattisgarh. However, it's located about 20 km from Raigarh, which can be a bit of a hassle. Transportation is limited, so plan accordingly.
