Hindu College was established in the year 1899 by Late Shri Krishna Dassji Gurwale. The institute is affiliated to University of Delhi (DU). Hindu College is accredited by NAAC with ‘A+’ grade and got 9th position in NIRF College Rankings 2021. The college vision is to develop citizens who contribute to the growth of the country. Hindu College has 14 departments and offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to students.Admission to undergraduate courses (B.Com, B.A., B.Sc.) is given on the basis of marks secured by candidates in the 10+2 examination. As per Delhi University PG admission norms 50 percent of the PG courses seats are reserved for entrance exam and rest 50 percent for merit. Merit based seats are only offered to students who have completed their graduation from Delhi University. Hindu College has placement cell (Disha) and internship cell (Abhyas) for placements and internships respectively.
