You must be an Indian citizen with Bihar domicile. A valid JEE Main 2026 scorecard is mandatory. Academic eligibility: 10+2 with at least 45% in PCM (or 40% for reserved categories) or a three-year diploma with the same percentage rules. There is no age limit for engineering programmes.

Bihar UGEAC 2026 registration: counselling fee, seats and seat allotment

Approximately 14,000+ engineering seats are available across government and private Bihar colleges under UGEAC 2026. Counselling is merit-and-preference based, using your JEE Main 2026 rank and the choices you lock.

Counselling fees are ₹1,200 for General/EWS/BC/EBC and ₹600 for SC/ST/PwD. A processing fee also applies (amount not specified in the notification). The application editing window on June 6 lets candidates correct minor mistakes before merit list preparation.

Round 1 provisional allotment is expected in late June, with final allotment in early July after objections are resolved. Round 2 follows in mid-to-late July.

For queries contact the BCECEB helpdesk at helpdesk.bceceboard@bihar.gov.in or check notices on bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. Candidates should register before June 5, 2026 and plan choice filling on June 10, 2026 to avoid missing counselling slots.
