    Big news for all you engineering aspirants eyeing admission to BITS Pilani! The BITSAT 2026 Session 1 exam dates have been officially revised. This is a crucial update, so make sure you mark your calendars with the new schedule.

    As per the latest announcement from the official sources, the BITSAT 2026 Session 1 examination will now be held on April 15 and 16, 2026 . This change is important for your preparation strategy and planning.

    BITSAT 2026: Two Sessions and Important Dates

    BITSAT 2026 will be conducted in two distinct sessions, giving you a valuable opportunity to improve your score. You can choose to appear in either one or both sessions.

    If you appear for both, your higher score will be considered for admission, which is a great advantage. While Session 1 is now on April 15-16, 2026 , Session 2 is scheduled from May 24 to May 26, 2026 .

    BITSAT 2026 Eligibility and Exam Pattern

    Before you dive into BITSAT 2026 preparation, ensure you meet the eligibility criteria. You must have passed Class 12 in either 2025 or 2026.

    Additionally, you need a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics combined. You also need at least 60% marks in each of these three subjects individually.

    The BITSAT exam is a Computer Based Test (CBT) with a duration of 3 hours . The paper consists of 130 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) , adding up to a total of 390 marks .

    For every correct answer, you will be awarded +3 marks . Be careful with incorrect answers, as -1 mark will be deducted for each one.
