CMC Vellore Nursing Admission Dates 2026 — Seats, Fees & Obligations

The B.Sc Nursing programme admits 100 students annually: 15 seats under All India Open and 85 under Minority Network and staff quota. The course is four years of academics plus 1 year of compulsory junior staff nurse training. After training, students must fulfil a mandatory 2-year service obligation under a service bond.

The total fee (including hostel and mess) is approximately INR 1,84,440 . Academic fee for four years is about INR 63,640 ; the application fee for B.Sc Nursing is INR 1,700 . Hostel and mess are compulsory for B.Sc Nursing students.

Eligibility and campus-specific rule

You must be at least 17 years old on or before 31 Dec 2026 and have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, with a minimum 45% in PCB (40% for SC/ST). Both male and female candidates are eligible. There is no NRI quota ; all applicants follow the same merit-based process.

Note: applicants to the Chittoor campus must qualify in NEET UG 2026 for B.Sc Nursing.

Exam pattern and selection steps

Step 1 is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) covering Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Ability. Shortlisted candidates are called for Step 2 — skill assessment, personal interview and medical tests (and a Bible test for Minority Network candidates where applicable). Final selection is based on combined performance in both stages.
