NCERT opened RIE CEE 2026 registration on May 15, 2026 . Candidates must apply online at cee.ncert.gov.in by June 5, 2026 to be eligible for the Common Entrance Examination scheduled on June 28, 2026 .

How to apply for RIE CEE 2026

Go to the official portal at cee.ncert.gov.in and complete the registration form. You will need to upload a recent photograph and your signature as per specifications and enter your qualifying exam marks.

Select your preferred RIE and programme, pay the examination fee online, and submit the form before the deadline. Keep your login details and the confirmation receipt safe for future steps.

Who can apply for RIE CEE 2026

Graduates and school passouts from the qualifying years 2024, 2025 or candidates appearing in 2026 may apply. For B.Ed, a bachelors degree with a minimum of 50% is required ( 45% for SC/ST/PwD). Integrated M.Sc.Ed applicants need 10+2 in science with 50% ( 45% for SC/ST/PwD). M.Ed candidates must hold a B.Ed with 50% marks.

RIE CEE 2026 programmes, selection and admit card

Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs) at locations such as Ajmer, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal and Mysuru offer programmes including B.Ed (2-year), Integrated M.Sc.Ed (6-year), B.A.B.Ed and B.Sc.B.Ed (4-year), and M.Ed (2-year). Selection is merit-based, using the CEE score.

The CEE is conducted in groups aligned to programme type. Download your admit card from June 20 to June 28, 2026 using your login credentials. Carry the admit card and a valid ID to the exam centre and follow all instructions printed on the admit card.

NCERT has released the registration window and key dates on the official portal. Apply before June 5, 2026 at cee.ncert.gov.in if you plan to sit for the exam on June 28, 2026 .
