    TG CPGET 2026 registration opened on May 15, 2026 (5:00 PM) at cpget.tgche.ac.in, Kakatiya University announced. Candidates seeking postgraduate seats across nine Telangana universities can start the online application process immediately.

    TG CPGET 2026: key dates and deadlines

    Key deadlines to note: apply by June 10, 2026 to avoid late fees. There are two late-fee windows — June 14, 2026 (Rs 500) and June 18, 2026 (Rs 2,000) . The application correction window runs from June 16 to June 19, 2026 .

    Admit cards will be available from June 28, 2026 . The entrance exam is scheduled in the first week of July 2026 . The preliminary answer key will be released on July 17, 2026 , with objections accepted from July 17 to July 19, 2026 . Result and counselling dates are yet to be announced. PG classes are expected to begin in the first week of August 2026 .

    TG CPGET 2026: fees, eligibility and exam pattern

    Application and exam fees: General and OBC candidates pay Rs 800 for one subject; SC, ST and PwD candidates pay Rs 600 for one subject. Each additional subject costs Rs 450 . Late fee options are Rs 500 and Rs 2,000 depending on the deadline.

    Eligibility rules require a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject. General/OBC candidates need a minimum 40% aggregate in the qualifying exam; SC/ST candidates only need to have passed the qualifying exam. Candidates with compartmental degrees are eligible if they meet the 40% requirement where applicable.

    The exam is an objective MCQ paper with 100 questions to be answered in 90 minutes . TG CPGET 2026 covers admissions to MA, M.Sc., M.Com., M.Ed., M.P.Ed. and other PG courses across the nine participating Telangana universities.

    How to apply and documents to keep ready

    Apply online at cpget.tgche.ac.in using the "Application Fee Payment" link, complete fee payment, then fill and submit the application form. Keep a valid email ID and mobile number for communications.

    Prepare scanned copies of your birth/SSC certificate, category certificate (if applicable), passport-size photograph and signature in the required formats before starting the form.

    Counselling schedules, seat matrices and city-wise centre lists will be released later by the exam authority. Candidates should follow official announcements on the CPGET portal for updates and result notices.
