    VITEEE 2026 counselling schedule is expected to begin in the second or third week of May 2026 after results are published on the official portal viteee.vit.ac.in . The process will be fully online and run in five phases based on rank ranges.

    VIT will conduct counselling in five online phases , with each phase allowing a specific rank band to register and choose seats. Dates below are estimated and students must check viteee.vit.ac.in for official confirmation.

    Candidates with ranks above 1,00,000 are generally considered for VIT AP (Amaravati) and VIT Bhopal rather than VIT Vellore or VIT Chennai.

    VITEEE 2026 counselling schedule: registration, fees and choice filling

    Registration and choice filling are expected to be hosted on the counselling portal at viteee.vit.ac.in . To register you must have your VITEEE 2026 rank and scanned documents ready.

    • Counselling registration requires a non-refundable fee of Rs. 5,900 (inclusive of GST) . Pay this during online registration.
    • After seat allotment, candidates must pay an advance tuition fee of Rs. 50,000 to confirm admission; a demand draft is accepted where specified.
    • You must fill campus, branch, specialisation and fee-category preferences. Authorities recommend adding more than 25 preferences to improve allotment chances.
    • Once choice filling closes, preferences cannot be changed; lock your final order before the deadline.

    Documents, eligibility and seat allotment rules

    Eligibility requires a valid VITEEE 2026 rank and online registration on the counselling portal. Document upload is part of registration and final verification at campus reporting.

    Required documents include:

    • VITEEE rank card
    • Class 10 certificate (DOB proof)
    • Class 12 marksheet or passing certificate
    • Aadhaar or another valid government photo ID
    • Community certificate for SC/ST claims
    • Nativity certificate for J&K and North East candidates where applicable

    Seat allotment will be based on rank, submitted preferences, category and seat availability across campuses and programmes. Document upload and verification happen during counselling and at the allotted campus during reporting.
