UCEED 2026 BDes Round 2 seat allotment was announced on May 19, 2026 , covering seven IITs and IIITDM Jabalpur. Candidates must log into the BDes portal (official payment portal at iitb.ac.in ) to view their allotment and complete seat acceptance.
How to check and accept your seat – UCEED 2026 BDes Round 2 seat allotment
Log in to your BDes portal account to see the Round 2 status. Allotted candidates must pay the full seat acceptance fee through the official payment gateway at iitb.ac.in to secure admission.
Fee details: General/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates must pay ₹60,000 ; SC/ST/PwD candidates must pay ₹15,000 . The last date for complete payment is May 27, 2026, 6:00 PM . Failure to pay by this deadline will automatically cancel the allotted seat.
After successful payment, download your provisional seat allotment letter from your login. Check all details carefully and report any discrepancies immediately to uceed@iitb.ac.in .
Freeze, Float, withdrawal and refund rules
Candidates allotted their first-choice institute can only accept or decline the offer. Those allotted second to fifth choices may choose Freeze (accept and opt out of future rounds) or Float (accept and remain eligible for higher preferences).
If you paid in Rounds I or II and decide to withdraw, the withdrawal window opens May 28, 2026 and closes June 09, 2026, 6:00 PM . Refunds will be processed after deducting ₹5,000 as cancellation and processing charges. Net refunds: ₹55,000 for General/EWS/OBC-NCL and ₹10,000 for SC/ST/PwD.
Email confirmations with payment details will be sent to the registered email address of allotted candidates. Keep the confirmation and provisional allotment letter for future admission formalities.
What happens next: rounds and timelines
Round III is scheduled for June 10, 2026 to fill vacant seats from earlier rounds. The joint seat allocation process will continue up to Round V on July 03, 2026 . Candidates who chose Float and do not get a higher preference will be automatically considered in subsequent rounds unless they opted to withdraw.
