    BITSAT 2026 April 15 exam live: Shift 1 on April 15 ran from 9 AM to 12 PM and concluded on schedule at 12 PM . The test is a computer-based exam of 3 hours with 130 objective MCQs , marked +3 for correct and -1 for incorrect responses.

    BITSAT 2026 April 15 exam live: shift timings & format

    Session 1 of BITSAT is scheduled for April 15-16, 2026 with two daily shifts: 9 AM–12 PM and 2 PM–5 PM . Each test is a CBT lasting three hours and contains 130 multiple-choice questions across Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English proficiency and Logical Reasoning.

    You can view your score on the test system before submitting the paper. Decide quickly — once you submit the test the score is final. The institute will not accept any requests for score review.

    BITSAT 2026 April 15 exam live: reporting, ID and dress code

    You must reach the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the start time. Entry closes 30 minutes before the exam begins; late entry is not allowed.

    Carry your printed admit card and one valid photo ID — accepted proofs include Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, Driving licence, or School ID . Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators and other digital gadgets are banned.

    Dress light. Avoid full sleeves, heavy buttons, jackets or accessories that slow frisking. Simple footwear is recommended to speed security checks.

    Marking scheme, scholarships and eligibility updates

    Each correct answer scores +3 and each incorrect answer gets -1 penalty. There are no calculators allowed at the centre.

    BITS has introduced a tuition-blind scheme: the top 500 rankers in BITSAT 2026 will receive a 100% tuition scholarship for four years . Also note the revised eligibility — candidates retaking the entire Class 12 examinations are not eligible for BITSAT 2026.

    Exam day instructions and restrictions

    Follow invigilator directions and read on-screen instructions carefully. Do not communicate with other candidates or open other software windows. Only essential items listed by the centre are allowed.

    Remember: you can check your score on-screen before submitting, but once submitted the score is final and unreviewable.
