    The test is a computer-based test (CBT) lasting 3 hours . Each paper contains 130 objective questions covering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, English proficiency and Logical Reasoning.

    BITSAT 2026 April 15 — Rules, eligibility and documents

    Reporting rules are strict. You must reach the centre at least 60 minutes before the exam start; entry typically closes 30 minutes before the shift begins and late entry is not allowed.

    Eligibility was revised for 2026: students who retook class 12 as a full retake for all subjects are not eligible for BITSAT. Carry your printed BITSAT admit card and a valid photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, passport, voter ID, driving licence or school ID) to the centre.

    Do not bring calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, earphones or other digital gadgets. Follow the dress code: light clothing, avoid large buttons, heavy embroidery or many pockets to speed up security checks.

    Scholarships, counselling and key dates

    BITS Pilani announced that the top 500 rankers in BITSAT 2026 will receive a 100% tuition scholarship for all four years under the tuition-blind admission scheme.
