    You must complete the form and payment by the deadlines to be eligible to sit for the exam on May 17, 2026 . Admit cards will be available between May 11 and May 17, 2026 .

    How to register for JEE Advanced 2026 application form

    Log in using your JEE Main 2026 application number and password . Verify auto-filled details, select your preferences and upload required documents in the prescribed formats.

    You must select 10 preferred exam cities during registration. City choices cannot be changed after submission.

    Required uploads include Class 10 certificate (DOB proof), Class 12 marksheet/certificate (2025 or 2026), a recent colour photograph, signature, and category/PwD certificates if applicable.

    Registration fee must be paid online. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable .

    Eligibility, age and attempts

    Only the top 2,50,000 candidates from JEE Main 2026 (B.E./B.Tech) are eligible to register. Category-wise distribution includes OPEN 96,187 , OBC-NCL 64,125 , SC 35,625 , ST 17,812 , and GEN-EWS 23,750 (with PwD slots horizontally allocated as applicable).

    You must be born on or after October 1, 2001 . SC/ST/PwD candidates get a 5-year age relaxation. A maximum of two attempts in two consecutive years is allowed.

    Exam mode, pattern and admit card

    The exam will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only. Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 are mandatory. Typical paper details (as indicated by organising authorities) are: Paper 1 in the morning and Paper 2 in the afternoon on the same day.

    Admit cards must be downloaded from the official portal between May 11 and May 17, 2026 . Carry the admit card and a valid photo ID to the test centre.

    Key notes for applicants

    There is no correction window after final submission. Ensure documents are clear, correctly named and within the specified size limits. PwD claimants must have at least 40% disability and upload the required certificate.
