    The JEE Advanced 2026 registration opened on April 23, 2026 at 10:00 AM IST . The window closes on May 2, 2026 at 11:59 PM and the fee must be paid by May 4, 2026 to complete registration.

    JEE Advanced 2026 application details

    You must be among the top 2,50,000 JEE Main 2026 candidates to apply for B.E./B.Tech through JEE Advanced 2026. Use your JEE Main 2026 application number and roll number to log in on the official portal jeeadv.ac.in .

    Required uploads include Class X DOB proof, Class XII marksheet/certificate, recent photograph and signature. Category and PwD certificates must be uploaded if applicable. There is no correction window after final submission, so double-check all entries before payment.

    Exam pattern and schedule

    JEE Advanced 2026 will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted by zonal IITs under the Joint Admission Board (JAB). The organising institute for 2026 is IIT Roorkee .

    The exam has two mandatory papers on May 17, 2026 : Paper 1 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon , and Paper 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM . Historically, each paper has been around 180 marks (combined ~ 360 marks ) with roughly 51 questions per paper (~17 per subject).

    Eligibility and other rules

    Age limit: born on or after October 1, 2001 with a five-year relaxation for SC/ST/PwD categories. Maximum allowed attempts: two in two consecutive years. PwD horizontal reservation requires at least 40% disability.

    Admit cards will be issued on jeeadv.ac.in between May 11 and May 17, 2026 . The admit card will list your exam city, centre and roll number; carry it along with a valid photo ID on exam day.
