JEE Main 2026 Session 2 result: Expected April 20; scorecards downloadable till July 31

    The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 result is expected on April 20, 2026 on jeemain.nta.nic.in. The result will use the final answer key and the best of two session percentiles to prepare All India Ranks.

    How to check JEE Main 2026 Session 2 result

    You will need your application number and Date of Birth or password to log in. Enter the alpha-numeric captcha and press submit; avoid multiple clicks if the servers are slow.

    NTA may also publish results on ntaresults.nic.in and will email results to registered addresses. If the site is slow, refresh every 2–3 minutes and try the alternate portal.

    What the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 result scorecard contains

    The scorecard will show NTA percentile , subjectwise percentiles (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), marks, qualifying status for JoSAA and JEE Advanced eligibility, plus All India Rank (AIR) . NTA will release the topper list and counts of registered/appeared candidates with the result.

    Top 2.5 lakh candidates will be eligible to register for JEE Advanced 2026. JoSAA counselling will cover 32 NITs, 26 IIITs and over 40 GFTIs with about 31,652 seats.

    How NTA prepares rank (brief)

    NTA uses percentile normalization across shifts. Your higher percentile from Session 1 and Session 2 becomes the final score used for AIR. Raw marks are not directly compared across different shifts.

    Download and save the PDF scorecard before the July 31, 2026 deadline. Check personal details, subjectwise percentiles and qualifying status. Eligible candidates should note the expected April 23 start for JEE Advanced registration and plan JoSAA choices for the June 2 counselling window.
