    JEE Mains 2026 Session 2 Statistics — NTA result announced

    The National Testing Agency announced the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 result on April 20, 2026 . The result link is active at jeemain.nta.nic.in and candidates can download their scorecards by logging in.

    A total of 11,10,904 candidates registered for Session 2, of which 10,34,330 actually appeared. Session 2 exams were held across 566 centres in 304 Indian cities and 14 cities outside India.

    Gender and category-wise break-up

    The NTA released a detailed gender and category split for registrations and attendance. Male registered were 7,56,976 and male appeared were 7,08,163 . Female registered were 3,53,928 and female appeared were 3,26,167 .

    Withheld results and reasons

    NTA has withheld the results of 113 candidates from Session 2. Of these, 57 were found involved in unfair means. The remaining 56 were withheld due to document, photograph or biometric discrepancies and other identity verification issues.

    For reference, in Session 1 the results of 54 candidates were withheld for unfair means. NTA policy states that use of unfair means can lead to result cancellation.
